I woke with my throat feeling worse and sinuses full of catarrh and I resigned to the fact that saltwater and compressed air could not be held responsible for the state of my health. Stewart's declaration of 'I don't know, I'm not a doctor, you might be coming down with a cold' seemed perhaps to have tempted fate.
