After breakfast we ventured out to the jetty again to photograph the squid and sharkey! The water was much more calmer now and the skies less overcast.
More snorkelling followed and this time we went out by the main jetty and reviewed the outer reef. There was plenty of life there: clown and indian triggerfish, rock cods, parrotfish, a red fire goby, fusiliers, powder blue surgeonfish, pufferfish, very long nose butterflyfish, squirrelfish, saddled grouper, oriental sweetlips, moorish idols, sergeant major fish and unicornfish.
I cooled down again quickly so took the opportunity to bask in the sun while waiting for Ian. I had the pleasure of having a small pink hermit crab wander past my towel leaving tiny but revealing tracks in the sand!
After lunch we headed for the ocean again for our final snorkel at Embudhu Village. I stayed in the inner reef as I found I was cooling down too quickly and saw some shrimp gobies, titan triggerfish, starfish, sea cucumbers, parrotfish and the tiniest 2 inch picasso triggerfish. He was lovely!
