I awoke to watch small children running past the tent entrance.
It was remarkably colder last night as yesterday was our first African clear sky throughout the day and night.
Following a very uncomfortable, bumpy, jerky journey we arrived at Wildlife Camp where we stay for two nights. For the final two hours of the journey I'd acquired a migraine which made the travelling far less endurable than it already was. Still, a couple of paramol later the feeling had returned to my face and arm and my eyesight was far more normal. I just had a little throbbing pain remaining in my head which is exaggerated by the heat.
There are signs throughout the camp warning us not to walk around. There are regular sightings of lion 10 metres away from campn although yet again, none are present at the moment.
There is a beautiful goliath heron in the middle of the river being as still as possible. Perhaps we'll get to see him feed if we watch for long enough...
