Solar prominences. I managed to capture a shot of the solar flares by using the sophisticated technique of shoving the lens of my camera into the eyepiece of the telescope. It's not too bad, a little fuzzy. You can see the flares on the right side of the sun which visibly changed over a period of five or ten minutes. Given how big these things are, that's pretty quick!
